This book is ridiculously cool.  If you spend time in NYC you need this book.  All the art throughout each of the subway and train stations is meticulously catalogued with pictures and explanations.  Every time you take the train from the Brunz to NYC and you roll into Penn Station you know you wonder wtf is going on with those falling columns and topless bronze women on the walls.  It's in here.  Those little bronze guys running around 14th strett street?  In here too.  Mosaic planets and animals all over the West side?  It's all in here.  If you spend an hour with this book you'll walk away plotting a tour of subway stations in your head.
